About Us

Our Story

We're located in Kibaale District, around 75KM north of Bundende. Kibaale has a favorable climate and fertile soil. It enjoys a bi-modal rainfall type which varies between 1000 mm-1500 mm per annum i.e. moderate to high rainfall. Rainfall comes in two peaks, one from March to May and the second from September to December. Temperatures are relatively high varying between 150c and 300c and this is favorable for cocoa, which fact is barked by various research projects.

We started in 2018, with 10 acres of green bananas and vanilla. Vanilla did not work out in our first farm, and after 3 years of hard work, we did not give up, but we had already expanded to over 80 acres of green bananas, and 30 acres of vanilla. We decided to venture into coffee and cocoa, but after some careful study, we decided to go with cocoa, and we’ve never looked back.

Our journey hasn’t been one without challenges, just like any other farmers out there, but among other challenges has been the un reliable rain fall and inconsistent workers, and security.

Ongoing Projects

Wages And Salaries

we continue to meet weekly and monthly wage bills for the farm to keep in shape, and grow to meet the projected expectations, and this is growing with the increasing tasks as we get to the bulk harvesting phase.

Pests Control

With the recent cocoa infection that's been wipping out plantations across the world, we got a nano technology organic fertlizer that's been very effecient in fighting the infection, among other nutritional deficiencies.

Shelter And Accomodation

We strive to provide one of the best work environments possible, and this has called for setting up a proper accomodation shelter for the increasing number of full time employees on the farm.

Training And Sensitization

We're putting in so much to train our workers with specialized skills to be able to produce quality cocoa, and this is extending to the members of the community as well.

Recruitment

With the increasing number of tasks, we've been hiring professionals in management and skilled man power to bridge the knowledge gap to form a winning team.

Research And Marketing

As our output is begining to increase every other week, we're looking at means of attracting better prices, locally for the start, as we explore options of value addition and exportation.

Future Projects

Irrigation

We've always relied on nature for rain water, but as the project has grown over time, it's now very risky not to have a reliable source of water during the dry seasons of the year.

Fencing And Security

We will be fencing all the farm sites to fight the theft of our cocoa and green bananas, as well as addressing any other security risks for both the workers and other properties.

Post Harvest Handling Facility

We want to put up a post harvest processing facility with cocoa fermentation units, dryers and storage facilities, to meet standard procedures for better quality output.
